About
The Lay-Geek Chronicles are intended to share information, news, tips, and opinions from one part-time, non-professional geek, for others. So often, what’s available out there on any given (geeky) topic is either so dumbed-down as to be insulting, or so abstruse as to be ancient Greek, written backward, in cipher.
The Chronicles are my pet subjects: open-source software, GNU/Linux, programming, digital rights, syncretic spirituality, fitness, and nutrition.
The Chronicler is named Ian Brunton, and lives in Nova Scotia, Canada, studying English literature. All this geeky stuff is pure hobby, just for fun.
This blog is written (usually) using GNU emacs, with org-mode and org2blog mode.
